Members of Management

Hanan Friedman has been serving as President and CEO of Bank Leumi as of November 2019.

Prior to that he held several senior management positions at Leumi, including of Head Strategy, Innovation and Transformation, Head of Regulation and Chief Legal Counsel.

Between the years 1999-2005 Freidman served as a lawyer at Lipa Meir & Co. law firm, and from 2005 he served as Chief Legal Counsel of Harel Insurance Investments and Financial Services.
 
Friedman holds an LLB and an LLM from Bar-Ilan University.

Omer Ziv has been serving as Head of the Capital Markets Division as of December 2022.

Before that he served as Head of the Finance Division. Prior to joining Leumi, Ziv served as CFO and Deputy CEO of the Phoenix Group during 6 years. Before that he served as Chief Accountant of the Migdal Group.

Ziv holds a BA in Economics and Accounting and an MBA from The Hebrew University of Jerusalem, and an MA in Actuarial Studies from the University of Haifa.

Liat Shuv has been serving as Head of the Corporate Division as of January 2023. 

Prior to that she held several management positions at Leumi, including Head of Risk Management, Head of Compliance and Head of Credit Risk Management.

Shuv holds a BA in Accounting and an MBA from The College of Management.

Eyal Efrat has been serving as Head of the Technologies Division as of February 2024.

Before that he served as Head of the Strategy, Digital, Data and Projects Division.

Prior to joining Leumi, Efrat served in various management positions at Harel Insurance Group, including Deputy CEO and Chief Technology Officer. 

Efrat holds a BA in Business Administration, Information Systems and Finance, and an MBA in Finance, both from The College of Management.

Hagit Argov has been serving as Head of the Finance Division as of December 2022. 

Before that she served as Head of the Internal Audit Division. 
Prior to joining Leumi, Argov served in various senior positions in the Capital Markets sector, including Chief Financial Officer of Harel Insurance and Controller of Securities and Investments at Migdal Insurance.

Argov holds a BA in Accounting and an MBA from The College of Management.

Tamar Mass has been serving as Head of the Strategy Division as of March 2024, and as of March 2025 she also serves as Head of the HR Division. 

Before that she served as Head of the Strategy Department and Chief of Staff to the CEO.

Prior to joining Leumi, Mass served as Chief of Staff to the CEO and Head of Retail Strategy at Discount Bank. Before that she worked as a manager in a consulting firm.

Mass holds a BSc in Industrial Engineering and Management from Tel Aviv University and an MBA from Reichman University.

Nitzan Sandor has been serving as Head of the Legal Division as of September 2024. 

Prior to joining Leumi, Sandor served as Head of the Legal Division of Discount Bank. Before that she served in various senior positions at Fischer & Co. law firm, including Co-Head of the Capital Markets Department and Partner at the Commercial Department.

Sandor holds an LLB from Tel Aviv University.

Matan Samish has been serving as Head of the Mortgage Division at Bank Leumi as of February 2026.

In his most recent role at Leumi, Samish served as Head of Service, Business Development, and Payments within the Banking Division, and was among the leaders of the implementation of the Bank’s service revolution in recent years. Prior to that, he managed the strategy of the Banking and Mortgage Divisions, and before that he managed the strategy of the Corporate Banking Division at Bank Leumi.

Samish holds a Bachelor’s degree in Economics and Business Administration (with honors) from the University of Haifa and a Master’s degree in Business Administration (MBA) with a specialization in Finance from Bar-Ilan University, as part of an honors program.

Nir Omer has been serving as Head of the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Division at Bank Leumi as of February 2026.

In his most recent role at Leumi, Omer served as Head of the Cyber Department. Prior to joining Leumi, he held various senior positions in the Israel Defense Forces (IDF), including Defense Attaché on behalf of the IDF and the Ministry of Defense in Europe, a series of command roles within the IDF’s technological units, and commanding a classified defensive cyber unit at the rank of Colonel.

Omer holds a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree in Electronics and Computer Engineering from Ben-Gurion University and a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from the Technion – Israel Institute of Technology.

Shauli Bar-Or has been serving as Head of the Technology Development Division at Bank Leumi as of January 2026.

In his most recent role at Leumi, Bar-Or served as Head of the Core Systems Department within the Bank’s Technology Division. Prior to joining Leumi, he held a variety of senior positions in financial institutions such as Harel and Ayalon, as well as technology roles in high-tech companies.

Bar-Or holds a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science (with honors) from Bar-Ilan University and a Master’s degree in Business Administration (MBA) with a specialization in Finance from Tel Aviv University.

Ronen Mori has been serving as Head of the Risk Management Division as of January 2023.

Prior to that he served in various management positions at Leumi, including Head of the Commercial Department and Head of the Private Customers Department in the Banking Division.

Mori holds a BA in Economics and an MBA from Bar-Ilan University.

Bosmat Ben-Zvi has been serving as Head of the Internal Audit Division as of December 2022. 

Prior to that she served in several senior management positions at Leumi, including Head of the Capital Markets Division, Head of the Risk Management Division, Head of the Strategy Department and Chief of Staff to the CEO.

Ben-Zvi holds a BA in Economics, Accounting and Computer Science from Bar-Ilan University, and an MBA in Financial Management from Tel Aviv University.
